INGREDIENTS

  • 16oz Flake Style Crab Select Imitation Crab Meat

  • 1.5 Tbsp Unsalted Butter

  • ¼ tsp Seasoned Salt

  • ¼ tsp Garlic Powder

  • ¼ tsp Onion Powder

  • ¼ tsp Black Pepper

  • ¼ tsp Red Pepper Flakes

  • 2 Tbsp Sweet Thai Chili Sauce

Preparation:

1.     Melt the butter in a microwave safe container for 30 seconds – 1 minute and remove it from the microwave

2.    Add the imitation crab meat pieces in a small to medium mixing bowl

3.    Gently separate the crab pieces so they are not stuck together

4.    Drizzle the melted butter on top of the crap pieces and stir to combine

5.    Sprinkle your spices (Seasoned Salt, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Ground Black Pepper, and Red Pepper Flakes) on the crab pieces and gently stir to help get all pieces seasoned

6.    Place your Crab pieces in your Air Fryer and cook for 6 minutes at 400

7.     Gently shake the crab pieces after the first cook and then place them back in the Air Fryer for another 6 minute 400 degree cooking cycle

8.    Eat as is or plate them up and drizzle Sweet Thai Chili Sauce over top of them

I understand why this dish is so viral!  They are crispy but also still juicy inside and not all dried out.  The outer layer of the crab bite pieces get very Crispy.  So, these give you that savory, crispy, crunch without losing the slightly sweet crab flavor—all without adding calories or carbs from a coating!

If your mom served these to you by just warming them up in the microwave and added some butter, salt and pepper to them, you need to try Air Frying them for sure!
